Perfect for use in pots and containers or planting in beds and borders.How to usePots and patios plantersIt’s time to repot when:- The plant is overgrown and root-bound (roots are densely wrapped).- Roots are growing out of the drainage holes.- The plant’s lower leaves turn yellow or drop off.- Compost is faded or crusty.How to repot1. Wash the containers and water the plant.2. Place a layer of Miracle-Gro® Peat Free Premium Rose, Tree & Shrub Compost in the base of the pot.3. Tap out the plant from the old pot, loosen the root ball and place in the centre of the pot.4. Fill the space around the root ball, ensuring the compost level covers all the roots.5. Firm lightly, water thoroughly and let drain.Planting in beds and borders1. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball.2. Position the plant and fill with 50% soil and 50% of Miracle-Gro® Peat Free Premium Rose, Tree & Shrub Compost and firm around the base.3. Water thoroughly. We recommend using Miracle-Gro® Peat Free Premium Border Booster to further enrich the soil.NOTE: We strongly recommend using Miracle-Gro® Peat Free Premium Azalea, Camellia & Rhododendron, Ericaceous Compost for acid-loving plants like Azaleas, Rhododendrons, and Heather.Where to useIdeal for roses, trees, and shrubs.
